APW IMnet II

APW IMnet II Cabling cabinets are expected to accommodate an ever-increasing number of network connections. The fundamental purpose of a network cabling enclosure is to control and protect a large volume of data cables and patch cords. IMnet’s unique design maximizes the open area available to bring in cables, especially in the two areas most used for cable entry -at the rear and at the sides of the enclosure (top or bottom). Even in its 600mm wide variant, IMnet has offset front cabling channels that allow patch cords to be managed down the side of the patch panels, leaving all active equipment free from dangling patch cords. The front cable channels in both the 600mm and 800mm wide cabinets have cable paths guiding cables from the front to the rear of the enclosure. Cable access windows have the option of radius window mouldings that provide smooth cable paths to protect data cables. The IMnet cabling enclosure provides network managers and installers with unparalleled cable access. The IMnet frame also ensures the cables flow over a smooth surface which cannot damage the data cables. In applications of extremely high cable density, the racks can be bayed together with a 100mm cabling gap, an enclosed cabling area providing cable access space while still protecting and hiding cables from view. IMnet is a multi-practice 19” and/or ETSI enclosure, designed to support and enhance the installation of the physical layer within networking installations. IMnet’s combination of lightweight, excellent cable access and management, plus fast-fitting accessories, has set a new standard for datacom enclosures. IMnet II adds to the qualities of the original design with improved robustness, rigidity and locking systems.
